The new year always brings hopes and dreams of a better life. I will be more organized, we will eat better, I will be more patient, I will have great quiet times with God, I will exercise more, I will actually finish my to do lists…. and so on and so forth. I would really love it if I could actually accomplish all of these things, but alas I know that unless I take small, intentional steps it isn’t going to stick. That’s why I totally love One Bite at a Time from the Simple Mom definitely $5 well spent. It really sets small doable activities for you to do to get a better hold on things. My goal is to finally get our mission statement written – and then hopefully be able to do things from there.
But I know that a lot of us want to be healthier in the new year. We either want to be stronger, fitter, thinner, or just heealthier in general. This past year I ran a marathon. I’ll definitely post about it. It was something that I was so thankful I finished, but to be honest it is something I never thought I’d be able to handle… really with time and ability it just seemed impossible. But it was in small steps. So starting January 1st I will post a little small thing that you can do to take steps towards a healthier you. 40 days of fitness… light fitness… easy doable steps.
